SMGOP Primary Endorsement Request for Jun 02, 2026, Primary

Congratulations on your decision to seek elected office. We appreciate your willingness to engage in the political process and seek solutions to California’s most pressing problems.

If you would like to be considered for an endorsement by the SMGOP for the June 02, 2026, Primary Election, please send an email to info@smgop.org not latter than three weeks prior to one of our endorsing meetings.

  • Only candidates who filed FPPC Form 410 or FPPC form 510 will be considered for State Offices.

  • Only candidates who filed FEC Form 1 will be considered for Federal Offices.

  • To receive a SMGOP endorsement requires a 2/3s vote of members present and voting.

Statewide Offices to be endorsed on Jan 08, 2026

  • Governor & Lieutenant Governor

  • Secretary of State, Controller, & Treasurer

  • Attorney General & Board of Equalization, District 2

Federal and State Legislative Offices to be endorsed on Feb 12, 2026

  • U. S. Senate

  • U. S.  Congressional Districts 15 & 16

  • State Assembly Districts 19, 21, & 23

Local San Mateo County Nonpartisan Offices on Mar 12, 2026

  • Supervisors, Districts 2 & 3

  • Assessor-Clerk-Recorder, Controller, Coroner, & Tax Collector - Treasurer
